Our Mission
Reduce recidivism of long-term felony offenders by 20% through transformative criminal justice legislation and flagship programs that will:
Increase Employability
With 24% of Kentucky’s largest metropolis being disproportionately incarcerated, stigmatized as “felons,” full contribution to the economy is limited and puts the Commonwealth at a great socioeconomic disadvantage.
Increase Mental & Emotional Stability
Multiple research studies affirm that
economic opportunity and development as
being powerful deterrents to crime. “Honingin-on” skills, abilities and “tapping-into” hidden potential.

THE PROBLEM
Racial/ Economic Disparities
Black Kentuckians earn less than all races, earn less than half of the annual median incomes for Louisville ($50K) and Kentucky ($62K) respectively.
Disproportionate Number of Black Kentuckians Detained and Incarcerated
With 24% of Kentucky’s largest metropolis being disproportionately incarcerated, stigmatized as “felons,” full contribution to the economy is limited and puts the Commonwealth at a great socioeconomic disadvantage.

The Solution
The Justice League provides progressive solutions to “age-old” systemic problems using restorative practices and innovative workforce initiatives such as:
Re-Entry Mediation
Intensive weekly therapeutic services specializing in EMDR, complex trauma, and substance use for medium/maximum felonyinmates one year prior to release date.
Inmates & Incubators
A program specifically designed to stabilize, “repair harm incurred,” and increase“ living-wage” employability.
LEGISLATIVE POLICY
will form mutually beneficial partnerships
with local, state and national officials, the region’s largest employers and various
organizations to address racial economic
disparities and inequities.
